Casa Hiraya began as a shared vision among friends—former Airbnb employees who spent years immersed in the world of hospitality, learning what makes a stay not just functional, but unforgettable. We saw firsthand how thoughtful design, guest-centric service, and authentic local experiences could transform travel. So we set out to build something of our own.
But our story didn’t begin with passports and plane tickets. We were once kids who didn’t travel much, where vacations felt like distant luxuries. When we entered the hospitality space in 2017, it wasn’t just a career move; it was a personal awakening. We saw how hospitality, when done right, could democratize access to comfort, wonder, and belonging.
That spark became Casa Hiraya.
In Filipino, hiraya means “the fruit of one’s dreams, hopes, and aspirations.” It’s a fitting name for a venture rooted in purpose: to create spaces that are both warm and welcoming; where every guest feels seen, and every stay feels intentional.
